A FOOT NOTE

Just when you thought I was done. late last night, before I left the Internet Cafe' after hearing terrible kareoke in the bakground, I discovered a way to communicate with Murtel. I would type out on the computer what I wanted to say, translate it to Arabic using Google and he would read it. And it worked pretty well. Except, when he wanted to answer, we couldn't figure out how to make the Arabic keyboard work. Definitely a one sided conversation but some what productive.

This morning I got smart, I brought one of our linguists with me.

Tomorrow I will do the same just before I "possibly" leave.

Damn I have to learn this language!
